It's an efficient treatment method that creates 12-14 teeth with 6-8 implants for each arch (upper and lower) that normally has 14 teeth each. However, design and placement position are crucial, and positions are determined considering the patient's bone condition and mechanical-geometrical factors.

Before surgery, we prepare surgical guides and prosthetics to be worn immediately after surgery. Therefore, you can wear temporary prosthetics right on the day of surgery. However, to reflect fine adjustments and changes in gum shape, we make temporary prosthetics one more time, and final prosthetics are made about 3 months after surgery. A total of 3 prosthetics are made, and in the final stage, we scan externally after removing the prosthesis rather than taking impressions in your mouth, allowing for comfortable treatment.

All-on-X is screw-fixed, so it won't fall out like dentures. However, screws may occasionally loosen slightly causing wobbling, in which case we can simply tighten them again. Fractures can occur when excessive force is applied with imperfect occlusion where upper and lower teeth meet, so it's important to receive treatment at a clinic that carefully examines occlusion.
